The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Book Covers

What was this project about?

Both of these covers were made to show what we would do for 2 different styles of composition: an illustration-based cover and a typography-based cover.I illustrated the cover art with Procreate and added the text later on for the final compositions, taking great effort in keeping the colors the same while putting on a fresh coat of paint to make the Hungry Caterpillar more kid-friendly by today's standards

Playing Cards - Design Sample

What was this project about?

This project involved us looking at a pack of playing cards and all the different types of themes that have been used to make new deck designs. The minimum amount was 10 different cards, but I also wanted to experiment with handmade lettering that was unique to this projectFor this project specifically, I wanted to emulate the look of classic red/blue/black playing cards while also incorporating the style of classic children's books like Peter Rabbit

2026 Calendar - Japanese Holidays

What was this project about?

This assignment was mostly meant to learn how to utilize a premade program and set up a calendar in InDesign. We were also asked to have a specific theme in mind for the composition; the one I went for was about the different Japanese holidays and festivalsA few examples of this would be with January's Coming of Age Festival, February's National Foundation Day, May's Greenery Day, and July's Ocean Day

Adventure Noises Studio

I had the honor of working with Adventure Noises from January 2024 - August 2024 as a Volunteer/Intern! From there, I participated in a variety of different projects, like coloring animation cells and backgrounds!Other highlights are also include doing artwork for the studio's Twitter and doing art/animations for a handful of TikToks

These different images showcase the different color work I had done when tasked with each background (the illustrations were done by another artist on the team in Clip Studio Paint).Between the images that I had submitted and the final video, naturally there were a lot of changes made in color palettes along with the additional rendering after the fact.

Myths & Mischief

As of May 2025, I have been working with the Mischief team to create a few works of art. I don't have much to show yet, but there is always room for more! For now, this is a look at the audition artwork that I had done using Procreate!

Illustrative Concept

For this part of my audition work, I was asked to create a visual representation of a specific character/scene within myth or folklore. For my myth, I chose the Greek Myth of The Flight of Icarus, specifically the scene where he is reaching for the sun as his wings are melting away.

Visual Ideation

For this part of my audition, I was asked to make 5 visually unique concepts that would have potential use for things like videos and social media assets. I then went and made 5 different images with different styles and formats in mind.
